    i have a wood prop. made about 1952

      If it's 4 feet long and the model number is "72" something, then it's missing a foot from each end.

        thanks for the info.
        my model numbers are correct.
        the exact measurement length is 47 1/2 inches.
        if it was cut off, i dont know why, and it is very clean
        on the 2 ends. i will try to post a photo.

          Sensenich model numbers begin with the length in inches, followed by hub information (usually letters) followed by the pitch, e.g. 72 CK 48.

          When tips are missing it's usually because the prop was damaged and someone removed the damaged outer ends. You'll find the model number on this page.

          It should look a lot like this:
