  • Gardner Propeller

My parents found a Gardner propeller in the attic of their 19th century farmhouse. They had no idea it was there when they bought the house about 20 years ago, and found it when people were putting insulation in their house.

The stamp says it's 8'6" in length, though one of the tips have been broken off. Stamp also says:
    DES:569
    SER:A-5459
    D:8'6"

    It's an 8 bolt.

From my research, I think they were used on Curtiss Aircrafts back in 1919. Anyone have any info about this propeller? Thanks so much.
