  • Any help identifying is appreciated?

    Hello,

I have a 71" wooden prop that has an "SB" decal on it, but I am beginning to think it is not a Sensenich Bros. prop since all of my research against the numeral markings has not matched the way SB marked their props.

The prop was gotten from Fort Bragg years ago. The markings are: D8-700-0; SER-845-60-HP-001; RPM 2700. I attached two pictures.

I would love to know the type of plane this prop is from and its approx. age. I am looking to see the prop so I would also like to know its value.

    Thank you!

Does anyone recognize the format of what I assume is the design number?

      Hi,

Not French from the data pattern, nor from the way it is "stamped" (painted?) on the blade. But, perhaps, I saw this prop on a French site, ... at least this kind of painted floor!
This shape is very common in France (6 holes props for engine from 60 to 90 HP), around the 60 to 70' ("Merville", "Régy", ...) but, to my knowledge, they are all stamped on the side of the hub.
