I have been given a prop today and I am trying to identify which aircraft it came from before donating it to my local Air Training Corps Squadron.
It is a 2 bladed prop that appears to be made of 6 seperate pieces of wood? compressed together. It measures just over 6ft from tip to tip and has a brass sheath along the leading edges and the hub has 6 connecting holes.
Stamped on the hub is the following info
Y6 90/3
GENET MAJOR
R3/AV/66742
Dia 6.25ft
Piton 4.0ft
18.8.30
On the inside of the hub it has the number 149
on one of the blades there are 3 very small stamps close together which appear to read 3 over 15.
Any help would be appreciated
