  • Can someone please help ID this prop already?

I have this Modern Wooden Prop that I was given by my grandfather. He was a pilot of the beautiful P-38 in WW2 and had a sizable collection of aircraft parts. My uncle got most of the good stuff but I was able to hustle this prop as a keepsake. If anyone has any clue as to what engine/aircraft it may have come off of, could you please let me know.
Here are some #'s that are stamped on the hub:
    D 85
    P 61
    Ranger G440C5
    June 1943

This prop was manufactured by S&S Aircraft Limited in Winnipeg, Canada. From your pictures I can see the shadow of the now-missing decal on the blade. The prop was made to fit the Fairchild UC-61 when the plane was fitted with the Ranger 6 440 C5 engine. This plane saw service in World War II as a utility and light cargo plane in service in the US, Canada and England.
