  • What Kind of Propeller?

I bought 30 years ago a huge wooden propeller (9'11") in an antique shop in Washington DC. Because I am a private pilot (German), living here in the US, I have several friends who are pilots as well and who are constantly asking me where this prop comes from and which airplane used it? And of course, I am curious myself. So, I hope that the collective expertise of the forum can help?! Thanks, Dieter

There's not a lot to go by on what you've shown. It's a right hand tractor application, which is fairly common. I would suggest at this point that you go to this page, carefully measure the hub dimensions and see if you can eliminate some of the common engine applications.

Is there anything stamped on the other side of the hub?
