    Nice looking props, Dwight.

Why so many? They obviously will have somewhat different performance, but how much variability is usable?

Very Cool, But Please Tell Me how ...

How did you get the metal to look so good??? I have tried so hard to clean mine, it is caked with corrosion.

        Luscombe Propellers

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond.
All of my propellers have been inspected, restored and returned to service by Guy Watson at the Wings of History Air Museum in San Martin, CA. They're one of very few authorized wood propeller service facilities in the country. He and his staff are magicians.

Each has it's own different performance characteristics. Several are very good in cruise, a couple are climb propellers that I use on hot summer days when the density altitude in the Idaho mountains is 7,000 ft. A couple just look good and are a compromise between cruise and climb. I like to experiment and one of these days I'm going to test them against each other just for the fun of it.

And besides, now I have one for every day of the week...
