  • sensenich propeller

I just bought a Sensenich propeller. The length is 70 1/8 inches. The hub is 2 /316 inches in diameter with 6 holes. Serial number is E8195. Model number is hard to read but ends in **10. I know nothing about propellers. I thought the price was reasonable so I purchased it off of eBay. Can anyone tell me about this prop? In the meantime I will be doing some research on the Web. Thank you.

If it's 70 inches in length it will almost certainly be one of the props with a "70" prefix on this page. The "E" serial number puts its date of manufacture between 10/44 and 3/45.

I think you'll need to look at the possible numbers and see if you can make one "fit" the stampings on your prop to narrow it down any further. For instance, the model number shouldn't end in "10", but "40 might fit".

I moved this to the "modern" category, since all Sensenich props were manufactured after 1932.

If you can post pictures of it, that would help.
