  • Wooden propeller ID

I have a wooden propeller left to me by my grandfather, and would love to be able to identify it. I have looked through all the wonderful info on your pages, but am still unable to do so. I wondered if anyone can help.

It has 8 holes in the hub, fabric covered, 275cm long with clear markings on hub:

    G1598 N42
    100 Mono

    LP 710 C

    D274-0 P2360

    many thanks,
    Ursula

It's a Lang propeller for a Gnome Monosoupape engine, and if no one else provides the aircraft ID I'll look it up tomorrow when I'm home.

Looks like it could have been used on an AVRO 504 (A, J and K models), a Sopwith Pup, or a DH5. The stamped pitch on yours (2360 mm) differs from the listing I have of 2120 mm, but I'm not sure that's of much significance.
