S&S Aircraft Limited Winnepeg SS-SS.170.D (On one side) SER.H.8113. (On one side) 8113 and 1035 stamped in the middle circle. I was with my wife and her grandmother when she purchased it about 15 years ago at an antique store in Carnation, WA. Thank you for any information that you can provide. Or if you could refer me to someone who might know? I can email photos. It is in VERY good condition. Rob Vancouver, WA |

![]() Hello from Dennis in Seattle. I own two of those props just like the one you have posted pictures of. One I paid 750.00 for and the other I paid 500.00 for. These are not rare props, there are a lot of them out there that was surplus. That being said, these are great for wall hanging and have great proportions. I hope that gives you a bit of perspective on the value of your prop. But that is just my opinion based upon the prices I paid for my two props. Sincerely. Dennis. |

The Royal Canadian Aviation Museum http://royalaviationmuseum.com/ has a quarterly magazine that contained an article on the history of the S and S propeller company of Winnipeg. It was likely within the last 18 months or so and I am sure they would be able to help you locate the article.
