  • Help ID a propeller

Could anyone help me ID this 8 ft. wooden (mohageny?) propeller. 8 holes in hub with following stamping:
    SE5210LH
followed by something that looks like LSN 3612
other side of hub has: 952-2
    Thanks for your help. bandrews

I think the "SE" part is for "Steam Engineering", which is the department that procured propellers for the Navy flying boats in the late teens. There is a series of SE50x0 propellers that were used on the Curtiss HS2L, and the "x" was a number that indicated the pitch. I'm wondering if you might have a variation of this propeller with a different pitch. Can you post a picture of it?
