  • Garuda Propeller from mid 1914/1915

    Hello,

I am Frank from Germany - new to the forum and I have a very nice fragment of a GARUDA PROPELLER.

    The propeller is marked with:

    GARUDA PROPELLER
    D.R.P.
    NR. 3985

    100 P.S:
    MERCEDES 6 CYL.
    D. 2.70
    BLATTBR 0.25
    STG 148
    ZUG

According to the post of Bob Gardner from 11-18-2013 in the post "Garuda Propeller" from Gino from 11-17-2013 the serial number indicates the prop was made center 1914 to mid 1915.

The prop was made for MERCEDES 6 Cylinder engine TYPE E4F and was used for Etrich A-II Taube also known as „Rumpler Taube“. This inforation I found on the WWW.

If anybody ist interested, please send me a realistic offer via PM. Because of the size it would be easy to ship worldwide in a common parcel.

    Greetings from Germany,

    Frank
