    Hi,
I am new to the forum and was referred to it by Dr. Kinney at the National Air and Space Museum. I recently acquired an old wood prop: 8 ft long, copper leading edges, over 1 ft wide blades, on back side 2/41047 on left side shaft hole, 1/1809/8x47 on other side of shaft hole. In a small box on hub: CAB/8.
Appears to be a pusher and Dr. Kinney thinks it is from a Aeromarine 40 flying boat. Any other guesses?? Thanks--Kurt Adams

It may be hard to identify with any certainty. A picture might help.

I'm away from my files for a few days and won't be able to research it until I get home, but at first glance none of the numbers ring a bell (other than the 8x47 which is almost certainly the diameter and pitch).
    Dave
