  • 1914 sop with propeller for sale

I have this 1900-1920 propeller for sale it has the Lang logo with all the stamps on the hub, please email me at tuckershane73@yahoo.com so I can send pictures. I have unfortunely polished the brass tips(unaware that this apparently devalues the prop. but iI will take aq serious offer.

Depends on its actual condition, and the ability to document its usage.

The OP emailed some additional photos, which are attached.

The propeller actually is NOT a Sopwith prop and was made sometime after 1917 when Lang began making propellers in the U.S. The hub was never drilled and the prop never used, but it was designed for use on a 100 HP Gnome engine. Aircraft usage could not be determined. It's the same model that was sold off by the Navy as surplus in the early twenties.

Unfortunately, the OP has sinced polished the brass sheathing from the way it appears in the photo, but the rest appears to be original.
