    This is a de Haviland drawing number used by several DH Moth aircraft of which the most numerous by far was the Tiger Moth, made in large numbers during WW2 as an ab initio trainer. The letters LL suggest it was made in Canada for the RCAF by the Laidlaw Timber Co.

    Gipsy Major refers to the engine. Diameter and pitch are self evident, as is the date in 1941.
