  • WOOD PROPELLER HUB: HOW DETERMINATE THE DIAMETER/ THICKNESS?

I am designing a wood propeller for a old engine, the GNOME 80HP, but I searched in lot of books about how to determinate the diameter and the thckness of the propeller's HUB, but had no results. WHERE I can find information about this? are there a standard values for these parameters? It will help me see various models of similar wood propellers? thanks!

This chart has dimensions for the Gnome 100 and 160 hp engines, but I don't know if the 80 hp used the same hub.

I'll try to check on some other listings and if I have a Gnome 80 hp propeller, I can just measure the hub on that one.
