I saw this on a wall yesterday and took a picture of the serial number. Trying to find out what engine it was used on.

It's a Signal Corps ("SC") number, which doesn't identify it at all as far as I can tell, and the 1018 is probably just a production number and also doesn't help with I.D.
You'll need to start with the hub dimensions to try to determine the engine as a first step. Can you post a picture?Dave
