Looks like one for a Liberty engine, which could have been used on a variety of aircraft.

Can you post photos of the decals?

I don't know what's going on with the indentations around the hub, but it wasn't from normal mounting on an airplane.

      Paragon propeller

Here are two more pics of the propeller. There are no indens. around the holes, just round metals that were placed to hide the holes.

Nice Paragon decal. I wonder what those goofy crosses are. I've never seen them before.

The "S.C." number is a Signal Corps number, and seems very high. That plus the absence of metal sheathing suggest a landplane operation rather than the more common seaplane use of the Liberty engine around that time. Your propeller is very similar in shape and size to this Hatzell and this Unico. Those are 3 of the many (pehaps 100 or more) manufacturers providing propellers to the military during the latter stages of WW1.

          Hi,

The hub look like a lamination is missing. But this is where are the stampings (which could not be viewed with one more lamination. So, ???
The prop shape is not far from Levasseur one. Did Paragon made Levasseur props under lincense? Or could the decal be added?

Could you post large pics (like your second one) of the three other sides of the hub?

          Regards,
          PM

              Hi,

Ok, but this the three other sides of the center (the opposite side of your last pic AND the two rounded sides) which could give some more information, even if you can't read anything on them.
