  • identifying a propeller

    I recently got this out of the attic, numbers on it are as follows:

    DES 70L47
    SER 24530
    HP 55
    RPM 2300

    It is in really good shape. I'm sort of looking for a value on it so I'm including pics.

    It's a very common modern style propeller. (Sensenich listings.)

    See this page for a discussion on values. You definitely need to post pictures for any of us to give you an idea of value. Condition is a huge factor in that process.

            Found them.

            You'll need to remove this plate from the front of the hub and see what's happened beneath it. It may be covering an alteration to the hub to install a clock or similar device.
