  • New member,so 'hello' to everyone on the site.

    I'm an avid collector,but never of propellers, until now.
    I've been given a propeller, restored unfortunately,but some of the numbers are still legible.
    I'm told it is an "OLD" propeller,but,as it is only 71 inches long, I suspect it is more recent.
    Under magnification,it seems to read "AC 60522 AUG 59", also "LH" [left hand] 10 1/2 GI SY 4.03
    picture attached.
    Any help for this novice would be appreciated.

    I suspect August 1959 is the manufacture date, and it was probably made for a GIPSY engine (especially with the left hand rotation). Bob Gardner might be able to narrow it down further. I don't have listings for those types of props.
