  • Looking form information on my wooden propeller

I have a wooden propeller I received from my father many years ago. It is wood, approximately 42-48" long with red tips and was made by U.S. Propeller Inc.
It also has the following information marked on it
    22008-1
    SER CB 842
and just below that in a small circle
    USP
    3

Any information about when it might have been manufactured, what sort of plane it might have been used on, and what value it has would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's was for a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle), most likely a target drone. It is believed that those models were manufactured during or shortly after WW2.

That model and a similar model seem to be quite common, implying that a large number were manufactured then the demand fell off sharply, creating a surplus that then gets distributed widely. We've seen the same thing with certain models of WW1 propellers and some other WW2 aircraft propellers.
