Hello to all of you and thank you for setting such a forum!
My name is Daniel, I live close to Zurich in Switzerland. My girlfriend and I just bought a Fahlin prop on e-bay about 1 month ago. We are looking for more infos about it and I give you here the details:
Prop is about 94" long, (2380mm) and have a conical hub made of plywood.
8 holes hub
Metal leading edges
Markings at the base of one blade read:
Fahlin D\738
No. 11334 HP160
R.P.M. 180
ATC\
What I find strange is the RPM showing only 180 instead of 1800 or similar...
On the other side, at the base of the other blade, markings show:
CW 432
738
From what I found, it could have been on a Ryan, could someone confirm?
Is there anyway to find out the year of manufacture?
Unfortuntely, the prop has been painted (yes... ) and then stored under direct sun light and we had to restore it to make it decent looking.
The two decals are missing or sun burned. We are looking to buy orignal one if possible, any help appreciated on this matter.
Thank you for reading and have a nice sunday!
