Want to know more about a family prop

Finally going to mount my great uncles old propeller on the wall of my office. Curious about its history.

6 hub holes

My mother said that he flew his bi-plane under the Borne, MA bridge on Cape Cod.

Any info would be great.

The type certificate for that model expired on November 6, 1944, which is probably why it doesn't show up on Lamar's list on Modernwoodenpropellers.com. Maybe someone has an older list that describes its use????

I apologize for being slow in responding. Work has been extremely busy lately. Last week I received additional info on Sensenich props from a copy of a January 1, 1942 catalog. I have not yet updated my web page but will as soon as I can. The 69D is listed as being used on the Piper E-2, Piper J-2 and Piper J-3 each with 40 hp Continental A-40 engine.
