I just purchased a wooden propeller with the following characteristics:
- 8'3" (99") in length, blade width is 7.5"
- Light-colored wood, symetrical (no covering on tips or leading edges/no indication that anything was there before)
- Hub is 9" in diameter, 7" deep with 3" diameter hole in center
- 8 Bolt holes
- Hub is stamped with 'SC41329' and a small square with 'A11B' or 'A118' stamped inside the square
- A faded diamond-shaped decal with maroon-colored lettering is painted on each side of the hub with the following (very faded) information; "The Liquid C?????? Company Chicago"
Any help on identifying the manufacturer, year of manufacture and type plane it was designed for would be appreciated.
