I have bought 2 wooden propellors 2 days ago. The seller (a 'brocanteur') could only tell me this propellor was as far as he knew from Belgium/France and made somewhere in the 1930's, It was a barnfind. Very dirty upon purchase, it showed it's beauty with gentle cleaning (no chemicals used). Length is 280cm. I would very much like to know a bit more of my purchase: where did it come from, what aiplane was it used on, how old is it (more or less). There are numbers stamped on it on both sides, but not very clear (see pictures) Also provided picture of how it is displayed: is this ok for preservation? Thank you for your help.

I can't read the numbers very clearly, but I think part of what I do see refers to the Fiat 300 engine, and "TIP" may be "type" and refer to the Ansaldo 300 aircraft.
That's my best guess.
