  • Propeller identfication

Please, anybody, be so kind and help me to identify this propeller. Evidently made by Heine Propellerfabrik. Unfortunately, in a battered state, outer layer coming apart in one place, holes drilled in the wings by some barbarian. Has a thin metallic mesh just under a paint. Thank, Jerry.

Probably post ww 1, but impossible to identify based on the information given.

Thanks. What info would be needed for a more specific identification?

A few thoughts: The propeller is relatively short, suggesting a relatively low power/high rpm application. Positive identification would require a stamped design number but, in my opinion, this most likely would have been fitted to a German light sport/trainer aircraft of the 1930’s. As the propeller has a left hand thread, the possibilities can be narrowed down to those which used an engine which rotated anti-clockwise when viewed from the cockpit.
