  • Propeller Identification

    Dear wooden propeller historians,

Since I was a child, I had a propeller in my room that was gifted from my parents.
Years later I am searching for more information about the propeller.

Side one of the hub says:
    DRG NO. PA 44-58
    D 6.33 FT
    P 4.58 FT

Side two of the hub says:
    Gipsy Major 1
    PA 992.

I would love to learn more about it.
I did some research into the Gipsy Major 1, but couldn't find the drawing number anywhere.
The propeller is a classic 2 blade propeller with metal on the edges.

Thank you for all your help!

    Oscar

As an added point, it is an 8 hole model.

Unfortunately, if it's not on this extensive list it may not be identifiable, at least with what we currently have to reference it. The number of different models of propellers is staggering.

I've moved it to the "Modern" category since it's obviously post WW1 era, as are the Gypsy engines.
