    Found this at an auction Marking on wooden propeller

    Ser 20563

    72 inches long

    6 holes with 2.5 width

    My research appears to indicate a 1943 date with applied or Cessna

    Do you guys agree

      That's a "7" at the end of the drawing number rather than a "K" and it's the same as a Sensenich 72C-42 or 72-C44, both of which are commonly used on trainers like the J3 Cub and many others, all listed on this page. The diameter is 72" and the pitch is either 42" or 44".

      I'm currently using the same propeller (new manufacture) on my 1946 Piper Cub.

        I have a decaled Specially made Piper Cub Sensenich wood propeller Model 72C-42. It is a full wooden propeller. Any idea of value and how it might sell for? Please let me know. Thank you.

          It's possible that it's airworthy, in which case maybe around $1000. If not it's a display propeller and would probably sell for about half that. Condition is a critical factor and we have no way of determining that from what you've posted.
