Thanks for letting me join the conversation. I'm looking for any additional information on a Gardner propeller with the following numbers:
DES: 491 (Continental 75 HP engine)
SER: 9851
A.T.C.: 710.
My grandfather worked at Stinson in Detroit, and I believe he brought it home from there. I'm working on a nice display for my father, and would like to know more about the piece if at all possible. I was delighted to see that Bob Gardner was a member of the forum ...
The propeller is 68", four-ply, with 6 bolt holes and a 2-1/4" hub. See attached photo.
