Can you help me identify a wood propeller with squared off tips:
Manufacturer unknown
Approx. 8 ft length
Small ID on face of blade 2188
Large ID on flange area SC75044
8 bolt holes
light colored wood
no metal on leading edges
symmetrical blade design
What airplanes might have used this prop?

There may be hundreds of possibilities. The "SC" number is probably a Signal Corps number, which doesn't identify it, and the other may be a manufacturer serial number, which also doesn't identify it.

Squared off tips are unusual.

Added image to see if that helps. The propeller blade was made into a lamp. The metal piece at the tip holds the bulb.

It looks like a "toothpick" style, which was often used on the OX5 engine on various aircraft, including the JN4, but the hub doesn't look like the right dimensions for that engine.

Check the hub dimensions then see if they match anything on this chart.

It is a match for the Wright A engine.
7" hub thickness, hub diameter 7 7/8", bolt circle approx. 6 1/2"
Given the good condition of the prop, I assume it is a reproduction, although the SC number is intriguing.
What aircraft used the Wright A engine?

The Wright A was another name for the Hispano-Suiza ("Hisso") engine. It was widely used on a variety of aircraft, including the JN4 which came in both OX5 and Hisso powered models. Absent a drawing number or other stamped information, it will be very difficult to be able to identity a specific aircraft use.
