I have a 1930's prop. I intend to leave the prop as is but the nose cone has some nasty dents in it. Is it worth getting the dents fixed (and leaving the patina if possible) or should I leave the dents?

Brass nose cone
saw your post from 2014. Could you help me identify the brass nose cone that I have? it measures 9 3/4 inches wide x 11 1/2 inches tall and weighs 2.75 lbs
