Propeller ID help needed

I have an old wooden propeller and engine hub that I need help identifying.
It is 8'6" long, and has two decals on it reading "Air Associates Chicago, IL Glendale,CA Garden City, NY.
On one side of the hub is engraved AIR ASSOCIATES, INC. and HP 102, and on the other side of the hub is engraved RPM 1500.

It has 8 bolt holes that are 1/2" in diameter in a hub that is 6" in diameter.
Center bore diameter is 2.75", and the bolt hole circle is 4.75".

It has metal leading edges, and has about 4 laminations.

I have some photos for it but do not have them posted online yet.

I had talked with a man at the EAA in Oshkosh, and he thought that from the description I gave him, my prop and hub may have come off of an OX-5, maybe a Jenny, and was familiar with Air Associates, but referred me to this site for more information. Can anyone give me any cofirmation or any more details as to the prop or what kind of plane it may have been on.

The bolt hole circle for an OX 5 is 5 1/4 inches. That measurement is the diameter of the circle on which the centers of all of the bolt holes rest.

What's the thickness of the hub?

My wife took the first set of measurements, and when I went back and checked the bolt hole circle, it is indeed 5.25". If you were referring to the thickness of the wooden hub, that is 4". Measuring the steel hub, the thickness of the plates on the front and back are about 1/4" each, so the steel hub would be about 4 1/2" thick.
Do you have any info at all on Air Associates, Inc.? I haven't had much luck finding anything on the internet.

No, but there were hundreds, and maybe thousands, of companies that got into propeller manufacturing around that time. Chicago, Glendale, and I think also Garden City may have had individual manufacturers that consolidated their operations. I don't recall which companies had plants in those cities, though.
