  • Need help identifying and valuing two propellers

My father had acquired two propellers. We cannot figure out how to find any information on them or how to value them.

Propeller 1: 72" Flottorp that says "both blades alike" on it. It is light in color. Manufactured in Grand Rapids, MI.

Propeller 2: Ritz Mfg. LTD- Chicago 30" with a 26" clock in it. Has the numbers 1712, 72, and an A with a circle around it.

There are thousands of models of propellers.

Flottorp built a number of props that size for the typical small engine trainers, like the Piper Cub. If you can't find a number on yours that matches one on this list then you really can only guess what it was used on.

The size of the Ritz suggests a UAV (drone) prop, or perhaps even one that was made entirely as a display piece.

Value depends heavily on condition. See this page to start.
