Can anyone help ID my propeller?

It is 70" long, dark wood, mahogany or walnut? Hub is 6" wide, hole in hub is 2 1/4" across. The leading edge of the blade is riveted metal with a leather wrap. The tip is riveted copper, and has a blunt end.

The number stamped (imbedded?) in the hub is 17658.

I will take pictures to post later this week.

Does it look as if the tips might have been cut down? How many bolt holes are there for the hub?

It's possible it was a WW1 era prop that's been shortened. Photos will help.
