Hi, I would like to find out anything regarding my wooden propellor.
Hub markings as follows :

D.H.GIPSY MAJOR
DRG. NO. D.H. 5220/H/24
G. A. & S. NO. 5349

D. 6' - 4"
P. 4' - 11"
June 1949

It has 8 stud holes , laminated timber with brass leading edges and tips riveted.
When I first acquired it it was all black, soon after it was knocked and a piece of paint chipped of showing the splendid timber underneath. So I stripped it and polished the brass to hang on the wall. Hope someone can help.

Too late to replace the paint, but in general they are better left in their original condition.
