Strom Propeller

Hi all new to the forums,
We ended up with this prop from an auction
and I was wondering if anyone would know more about it
there does not appear to be much info online about Strom Prop co.
the marking on the prop that i can see are

STROM PROP CO.
ST JAMES
D82
it is 82 inches long
6 inch hub diameter

Any help would be appreciated,

It certainly looks like an airplane propeller, and the size is typical of the modern small horsepower engines, but the hub is not typical of any of the standard engines used on aircraft, or even airboats, for that matter.

I don't know what it's for.
