I recently obtained a Hartzell, two blade wood prop from the son of an Army Air Force veteran from WWII. The prop has the following information on it: Hartzell ATC No 457, Piqua, Ohio, H.P. 225, Design C 707, 80 (90), Sr. No. 32843, RPM 2000. It also has a wartime era decal/patch affixed to the center of the hub from Yuma Army Air Field!!
I get the basics of the information, but was wondering if anyone could tell me more about it; when it was made, what aircraft utilized this kind of prop, etc. I'm guessing it was used on a PT-19, but it is a guess. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you.
