I have a Sensenich 70D-40 that is not in great condition. The layers of wood are starting to split apart due to the dryness of the wood.
Hubby and I are having the great debate as to how to repair it or whether we should attempt to repair it at all. I am in favor of a bit of wood glue and then clamping it together to while it drys. He is in favor of leaving it as is because he is concerned about diminished value. I don't intend to sell it so that is not a huge concern for me, but I do enjoy having it on display and would like to prevent it from coming apart.
What is the best way to preserve the propeller?
