  • Any info would be helpful

I purchased a wooden propeller from an antique dealer. I am uncertain of age, what kind of plane and value of this. The only markings are on the center, are stamped and read, UF (upper) 58-27 (lower).

    Length-48"
Width-4" in center 5" at widest part of wing
    Height-1 3/4"

I have included a picture. ANY info would be helpful...My husband thinks I made a poor purchase and it's a reproduction with no real value.

    Thanks

It's not a propeller for a "certificated" aircraft. My guess is that it is for an ultralight, and by the appearance of the hub that it has been modified and used in a second application of some kind. The length is too short and the hub too thin to have been used on typical conventional aircraft.
