  • Miller wooden propeller - need help to identify

I have a wooden prop given to me my my father who has passed away. Need to id it and can't find anything on Miller Propellers, Dallas Center, Iowa. I think it is authentic, have all numbers from the hub. It is 72 inches long, six holes in the hub, has red tips, and TC 843 on one side of hub. Other side of hub has SER555, MOD702CA, and 44 on it. Can anyone help me and let me know if it has any value except the fact that my Dad gave it to me!

The type certificate and model number are registered to Univair. The hub dimensions are consistent with a variety of engines, typically used on Piper Cubs, Taylorcrafts, Luscombes, etc. You can get an idea of the possibilities by comparing to all of the 72 inch propellers on this page, for instance.

Look on eBay for completed sales of similar props to get an idea on value. It is very much dependent on the propeller condition.
