  • Fahlin Propeller - Info Help

I have a Fahlin propeller that is 7 feet 2 inches long that I plan to mount on my wall. It was made in Colombia, MO (DWG 1044 K10817). The Serial Number is 4420817. Do you have any information on what type of airplane this particular propeller would've been used on? Also, any general historical information about these propellers, type of wood and metal that was used, etc? I didn't see much about Fahlin propellers in Missouri - more when they were being made in California.

    Also, any tips on care?

    Thanks!

It's actually a Sensenich drawing number, the "44" referring to a 1944 military contract. The civilian number is found on this page, which you then try to find on the Sensenich page.

Thanks! Is there any way of telling which of the several planes it was?

No, unless by some fluke you could find an aircraft logbook of one of the thousands of possibilities and find an entry with the exact serial number.
