Lorenzen Propeller Company

I have a Prop from Lorenzen Propeller Company of Niles, Mich.
Ser# 1583 DES# 1275A. Does anybody have any information on the company or the Prop. Nothing much I could find on the web. It came off an Airplane but we don't know what type.. Its 57 inches long.

I may be mistaken, but I think they made ultralight propellers, and the small diameter (57") would be consistent with that.

Ill do some more research and see what I can find, my friend who is 77 got this prop from his brother who is no longer with us. Which makes me think that it is old.
Like you mentioned it is short. Ill let you know what I find out...

Well, it certainly looks like a prop from a certificated aircraft, and it hasn't been cut down, since the sheathing is intact. I'll see if I can find out anything about it when I'm home.
