  • Bennett "Eagle Flite" Propellers

    To all forum members,
I am looking for a Bennett "Eagel Flite" propeller. These propellers were design and built by my grandfather Sam Bennett. The Aviator Robert Bryant used the Eagle Flight propeller during his speed record breaking non stop flight from Miami to New York in 1938. If anyone knows where I may find one, please let me know. Thank You.

    Mark,
I just refinished a Bennett Prop for an FBO at an airport in Florida. It has BENNETT stamped on the blade. It was made for the Porterfield FP-65 which used a Franklin 65 hp. engine. 1941. It has a DES (design) # 26, ATC (Type Certificate) 727,
SER 1565, RPM 2350 stamped on the Hub. It has had termites in it at some point. I will attach a few pictures. Info only as it is not an Eagel Flite.
