A wooden propeller hub with an old air speed indicator mounted in the middle to be hung on the wall was donated to the museum. Since the blades were cut off, I have no idea what the diameter would be, but it does have six holes. The wood appears to be very close grained and dark but that could be from the staining. The air speed instrument mounted in the middle was an old one manufactured by Casella London No. 1058G. The wooden propeller hub is stamped with the initials "ASI" on one side and "HP 42" on the other. I would like to identify the manufacturer of this prop as well as try to identify the type of
aircraft it was mounted on. I'll get to the identification of the air speed indicator later.
Thanks Herb
