4 bladed Propulsor

Hello,
This is not my prop or photo,I merely came across the photo on another forum and gained interest in its useage.
It currently hangs in office area of the RAAF museum.
What motor/aircraft was this propeller for?

It's unlikely that you could determine its usage simply from the picture. To me it looks as if it's more a post WW1 design, and it's actually made by combining two specially designed 2blade props to clamp together to make the 4 blade. You can see the recess in the rear blade to accomodate the front blade. If those are decals on the blade, they could be useful in tracking down the manufacturer.
