  • Propeller Identification WW 1

    My grandfather brought back a propeller tip from the First World War. He was in the German "Feldschiffer" unit (tethered balloons), which had no motor drive.
    He probably brought the propeller back from the area around Verdun/France in 1918.
    Can anyone provide more information about the type/engine/airplane/zeppelin?

    Sorry to be the first to say it but, identifying a propeller from just the tip is nearly impossible.
