Help identifying this British propeller - WW2?

Hello there. Thank you for allowing me into this group. I recently bought this lovely wooden propeller at auction and I don't know anything about its history. I believe it is British WW2 era but I may be completely wrong. I know the owner sanded it all down

If anybody could shed any light and its history I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance Dave
