We've had this prop in our basement for years. It came from the family cottage. Ontario, Canada. Can anyone help? It is 80 inches long.

Everything about it suggests Tiger Moth to me.
If there is a design/drawing number stamped on it then that would identify it beyond doubt.

Excuse my ignorance but where would i find that. ? Thanks.

I would normally expect to see the drawing number stamped alongside the other information but if it is present it will be on the hub somewhere. It might be prefixed “DRG” or “DG”.
