  • Banks Maxwell 72” and 70”

I have two Banks Maxwell propellers. One is 72” the other 70”
I know this company mainly made boat props but these seem very large for a boat. The green has been painted. Im not sure about the red. I have seen 36” approx value at $600-800 but nothing on the 70-72”. If anyone has info I would much appreciate anything. Thank you!

Looking at this listing for Banks-Maxwell propellers: https://woodenpropeller.com/Banks-Maxwell.html
It can be seen that diameters of 70-84 inches are classed as “regular diameter” for airboat and snow sleigh applications and nothing about your propellers is inconsistent with this.

The squared off tips are common on airboats where screens are used to protect occupants, but some aircraft were equipped with squared tips as well. I suspect that both of these airboat models.
