  • Propeller identification help

20241028_191718.jpgI have the centre section of a 4 blade propeller which had at one time (long ago) been converted into a clock. The blade is stamped with the following and I wondered if anyone can point me in a direction regarding what it is from.

4 blades. Eight bolt mounting. stamped with 'LP 790 LH' over '80 RENAULT' over 'D2616' over 'P2520'. There are two approximately 21mm stamped boxes to the front which look like four boxes with 'A.I.D 151 in the bottom and something that I cannot read on the boxes above over 'BRI' I believe. Below these boxes is the Broad Arrow with an 'A' above.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Andrew

Some photos would be very helpful, especially ones showing the stampings; also, showing what remains of the blades in order to determine whether this has a right or left hand thread.

Googling “LP790 propeller” turned up this result on another forum. (See photo posted separately).
For what it’s worth, I think the “LP” part refers to the Lang Propeller company of Weybridge, U.K.
